Booking terms and conditions for individuals making reservations

Booking information: When you book via e-mail request, you will receive an e-mail with an order confirmation and invoice, based on product availability.

Order confirmation: Check the order confirmation as soon as you received it. The order confirmation is your agreement with Nutti Sámi Siida and contains the price, programme, terms and conditions you agreed with Nutti Sámi Siida. Any inaccuracies must be reported immediately.

Terms of payment: To confirm the reservation, payment of the total amount of the order has to be done within 5 days of booking. If it is less than 15 days left to arrival, payment of the total amount has to be done immediately. If Nutti Sámi Siida has not received the total amount within the specified time, the booking will be cancelled automatically.

– Payment can be made using credit card or a PayPal account. A separate e-mail with a PayPal payment request will be sent to your e-mail address. To pay by card does not require a PayPal account. Please note that all payments must be made in SEK (Swedish kronor). Make sure to indicate the invoice number so we quickly can match a payment with the correct booking.

Cancellation: Cancellation must be in writing to info@nutti.se.
Cancellation can be made against a transaction fee of 3% of the booking’s total value up to 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation made later than 30 days before arrival will be charged at 100% of the booking’s total amount.

Rebooking terms with regard to Covid-19: Rebooking must be in writing to info@nutti.se.
A booking cannot be rebooked normally, but due current circumstances with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, rebooking is allowed on one occasion until 28 February 2021 at the latest.
Rebooking can be made free of charge to a new arrival date no later than 15 days before the originally booked arrival date.
Rebooking can take place to a future date up to and including 11 April 2021.
In the event of rebooking, the cancellation conditions that entitle to a refund expire.
If the price for the new arrival date is higher than for the original one, the difference is paid against invoice immediately at time of rebooking.
Rebooking that results in a lower price than already paid will not be reimbursed.
The prerequisite for rebooking is that there is availability for the selected new arrival date.

Reservation:We have a minimum number of guests on our multiple day tours as per current product sheet. If you are the only guest on the tour and do not fill the minimum number we reserve the right to cancel the tour. Notification of tour cancellation is announced at least 60 days before the tour’s start date. If the tour is cancelled by Nutti Sami Siida AB, we will refund the full amount of the tour.

Travel and accident insurance: Guests participate in our activities at their own responsibility and are obliged to follow the safety instructions assigned by the guide. We advise our guests to arrange their own travel and accident insurances.

Excess: In event of an accident on our snowmobile tours an excess of maximum SEK 8 000 per incident/snowmobile will be charged to the person who was driving the damaged snowmobile.

Package travel: The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. Company Nutti Sámi Siida AB will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, company Nutti Sámi Siida AB has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes/they become insolvent. More information on key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
We have arranged travel guarantee at Kammarkollegiet (Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency) regarding package trips and linked travel arrangements. For more information contact Kammarkollegiet at +46 08 700 08 00.

Terms: In addition to above terms, we follow Visita’s (Swedish Hospitality Industry) general terms for conferences, group bookings and other events. In the cases where Visita’s general terms and above terms are contradictory the above terms are current. You find Visita’s general terms at: www.nutti.se.

Additional information:
Weather: Tour will be adapted to prevailing weather conditions for the safety and well-being of the animals and guests.
Animal protection: Nutti Sámi Siida has the right to cancel all or part of the tour if animal health/welfare requires it.

RÁIDU specific information:
Minimum number of participants to carry out the tour: 1 person.
Transfers: The pick-up time in Kiruna is approximate due to pick-up from different spots in Kiruna. Please be prepared a bit earlier than the stated pick-up time, as well as it may happen that the guide arrives slightly later due to different spots.
Food: Fried smoked reindeer meat, with flat bread and lingonberry jam, lingonberry juice, coffee/tea included. Food allergies/intolerances to be advised at booking.
Equipment: Loan of thermal overall, boots, mittens and hat is included. Helmet is provided for the reindeer sledding. To dress according to multiple layer principle is recommended.

IDJASTÁLLU specific information:
Minimum number of participants to carry out the tour: 2 people.
Start/end/transfers: The tour starts at 20.30 in Jukkasjärvi at Marknadsvägen 2, SE – 981 91 Jukkasjärvi, outside Jukkasjärvi church; and ends there at 23.00. Transfers from/to Kiruna can be booked against supplement.
The pick-up time in Kiruna is approximate due to pick-up from different spots in Kiruna. Please be prepared a bit earlier than the stated pick-up time, as well as it may happen that the guide arrives slightly later due to different spots. Place pick-up and drop-off to be indicated by using the drop-down menu at time of booking. 
Food: Lingonberry juice, coffee/tea included. 
Equipment: Loan of thermal overall, boots, mittens and hat is bookable against supplement in connection with transfer. To dress according to multiple layer principle is recommended.
Northern light: Although the chance of seeing the northern light is quite high, a sighting cannot be guaranteed due to it being a natural phenomenon.

REINDEER LODGE Stay (cabin rental):
Reindeer Lodge address: Paksuniemivägen 188, SE – 981 91 Jukkasjärvi.
How to get here?: A car is recommended to get here. Local bus 501 from Kiruna has a limited timetable and there is no bus stop close to the lodge; the road Paksuniemivägen has no pedestrian walkway. Bus 501’s bus stop “Jukkasjärvi Kyrkan” (church) works also as a pick-up spot for our 16.00 check-in transfer (against pre-booking only). Also check-in transfer 18.00 from Kiruna Tourist Center and 11.00 check-out transfer, all with minibus, are offered against pre-booking.
There is a municipal snowmobile trail, which also can be used by skiers and pedestrians, passing Reindeer Lodge and connecting with Jukkasjärvi village via river Torne, appr. 1.3 km walking distance (snowmobile trail) between Reindeer Lodge and Jukkasjärvi church. Travelling on ice is at one’s own risk.
Arrival by car: Leave the road Paksuniemivägen after 2.3 km from the Marknadsvägen/Paksuniemivägen crossroad in Jukkasjärvi village; at the Reindeer Lodge sign just before the road tunnel. Follow the signs appr 300 m until you arrive at the parking area at the big wooden Reindeer Lodge sign. Nearest grocery store, café and restaurant is 3 km away in Jukkasjärvi village.
Transfer: If you have booked transfer with us, you will find time and spot on the order confirmation.
Options pre-bookable against supplement:
Check-in transfer: 16.00 from bus stop “Jukkasjärvi Kyrkan” (church).
Check-in transfer: 18.00 from Kiruna Tourist Center.
If necessary, minibus can during check-in transfer make a stop at grocery store for quick shopping.
Check-out transfer: 11.00 from Reindeer Lodge via Icehotel/Kiruna Airport/Kiruna Tourist Center/Kiruna train station.
Cabin: Each Reindeer Lodge cabin is one large room á 20 m² that is equipped with a double bed, with wood-fired stove and electrical heater, small fridge, table and chairs. Four out of five cabins are also furnished with a sofa bed. Note: the sofa bed (1.60 x 1.80 m) fits up to 1 adult with child; or 2 children (3-12 years).
Check-in/out: Self-check in from 14.00. Check-out at 11.00 am at the latest. In case of late check-out, the facility will charge the customer an extra night base cabin rent (SEK 1500).
Key: The cabin key is to be found in each cabin’s key lock box next to the door. The colour of your cabin door (red, blue, green, yellow or black door) and the code to your cabin’s key lock box will be sent to you either by e-mail or via text messaging (sms) sometime ahead of the official check-in time. Upon departure you leave the cabin key in our key drop box.
Included: Breakfast basket delivered to the guest’s cabin every morning from 08.00 – 10.00.
Food allergies/intolerances to be advised at time of booking.
Access to a common timber log building that serves as a joint self-catering facility with fully-equipped kitchen, stove and seating. Access to joint single-sex shower and dressing compartments as well as WCs in separate communal facilities.
Bedclothes and bathing towel.
Access to snowshoes, simple cross-country skis and sled. Firewood for the cabin.
Cleaning: Cleaning is not included in the cabin rental. Tenants are responsible to keep their cabin and the communal facilities tidy during the stay and to return them in good condition upon departure. Cleaning kit is in each cabin. If a cabin is left without being cleaned and the departure cleaning is not booked a surcharge of SEK 500 will be imposed on tenant. It is optional to book departure cleaning. Reindeer Lodge is a non-smoking facility. In the event of violation of the smoking ban the facility has the right to charge the customer demolition costs.
Good to know:
The facility is only partly staffed.
Lodging is not adapted for toddlers.
Lodging is without lunch and dinner.
The reindeer corrals must not be entered without permission by staff..
