The month of the reindeer calf

It is a magical moment to see a calf taking its first steps
Nils Torbjörn Nutti, reindeer herder, business owner and guide

Come and visit our herd during the most exciting time, the month of May. Here, the host receives you among hundreds of reindeer and you get a unique opportunity to see newborn reindeer calves take their first stumbling steps. Together you walk around the fence so that you will have plenty of chances to see, and at the same time photograph, the newborn reindeer. In order for you to get a real taste of Sápmi, the visit is rounded off by enjoying together a traditional Sámi meal cooked over an open fire in a lávvu. In connection with the meal, there are good opportunities for both deeper conversations and happy laughter!
