Be a part of the team at Nutti Sámi Siida
Do you have a interest in the Sámi culture and like working with people? We at Nutti Sámi Siida are looking for you who want to work in a exciting environment with guests and animals in focus!
Here at Nutti Sámi Siida, we work to spread knowledge about Sámi culture to our guests, but also to those who work with us. Through your daily work, you get the chance to learn everything from throwing a lasso and working with the reindeer to cooking Sámi food and making a fire. In addition, we are happy to include our staff in daily reindeer herding outside of tourist activities. Over the years, we have had many reindeer herders, but also young Sámi who have come to us to strengthen their identity, or learn about reindeer husbandry or business. We have also had people who came to us with no personal connection to the culture, but with a great interest. Nutti Sámi Siida welcomes everyone and sees diversity as a strength!

As staff at Márkanbáiki, you will work in our craft shop, prepare lunch, take care of the cafe and guide in our museum.
Here you work in the evenings, either preparing dinners or serving it. The restaurant is small, maximum 20 guests. No education is required, but an interest in Sámi food is meritorious.
Our new arrangement àrrangaddis needs staff, both cook and guide. The idea is that the guests get to taste 6 dishes of local produce and Sámi food, which together become the basis for the conversation and a guide about Sámi culture. If you feel that this sounds like something you want to work with, as well as help develop, then get in touch with us! You will work in shifts of 7/7, giving you an 80% work month. The possibility of more extra hours on your week off will be available.
No education is required, but an interest in Sámi food is necessary, and experience is meritorious.
Requirement for B driver's license

You will also drive a shuttle to town to pick up guests and ensure that the areas you work on are clean and tidy.
You will work in shifts of 7/7, giving you an 80% work month. The possibility of more extra hours on your week off will be available. We require previous experience in reindeer herding/working with reindeer, good knowledge of English and Swedish, B driving license and scooter license.
When you work with us we want you to both have funa nd to learn something new!
